Salad Tracker is a Chrome extension and optional account service for people who use Salad to earn with their computers. This policy explains what the extension handles and the choices available to you.
What the extension does
Salad Tracker reads the machine and earnings information available through your signed-in Salad session so it can show a local dashboard, charts, machine health, GPU demand, and related reports.
Data stored locally
Without a Salad Tracker account, the extension stores information in your Chrome profile, including earnings history, machine identifiers, names and aliases, activity observations, monitoring settings, power-cost settings, and report preferences. Free history is retained locally for up to 30 days unless you clear extension data or uninstall the extension.
Optional account and Pro data
Creating an account handles your email address, authentication records, and an internal account identifier. Signing in alone does not turn on cloud uploads or monitoring.
After you explicitly enable Cloud sync & monitoring, Salad Tracker may receive daily earnings, machine identifiers and names, aliases, daily activity coverage, check-ins, earning/idle/unavailable observations, alert preferences, and delivery records. Cloud history can be retained for up to two years; monitoring observations can be retained for up to 30 days. You can stop uploads, pause email, or delete stored cloud and alert data in Account & Pro.
Active Pro customers may also use the hosted dashboard at saladtracker.com/dashboard. The extension uploads a sanitized current dashboard projection so the website can display account balances, current machine state, recent hourly earnings, 30-day account history, aliases, and display settings. The hosted page is read-only and never calls Salad. Hosted projection data is deleted with cloud data and is not available after Pro access ends. The extension remains the collector; the phone does not need the extension.
Windows rig monitor
The optional unsigned Windows/NVIDIA monitor uses the installed NVIDIA driver’s nvidia-smi command to collect GPU name, VRAM, utilization, temperature, and NVIDIA-reported power draw from each rig where you install it. It receives a device-scoped upload token through a one-time pairing code; the token is protected with Windows user encryption and is never displayed again. Salad Tracker stores the device name, monitor version, readings, calculated energy, your optional overhead-watt setting, and electricity rate. The monitor does not read Salad passwords, browser cookies, wallet data, or general files. You can disconnect a device in the extension, remove its Windows startup entry, or uninstall/delete its local monitor folder.
Email alerts
If you enable email alerts, Salad Tracker uses the alert preferences and observations you select to send messages about missing GPUs, no earnings, or collection problems. Email alerts are optional and can be paused or changed at any time.
Billing
Pro costs $15 per month. Checkout and payment-method management open Stripe-hosted pages. Salad Tracker receives subscription, customer, and billing-status identifiers needed to provide Pro access. Stripe handles payment-card details; the extension does not store them.
Website analytics
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to help us understand website visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, and clicks to download the extension or Windows monitor. We do not send your Salad account data, extension history, monitor readings, email address, or payment information to Google Analytics. We do not use this Google Analytics property for advertising or remarketing. You can limit or block analytics cookies through your browser settings or privacy extensions.
Service providers
The service uses Salad for source account data, Supabase for Tracker authentication and application data, Stripe for subscription billing, Resend for opted-in alert delivery, Google Analytics for website usage measurement, and ModernDeals infrastructure for selected APIs.
What we do not collect
Salad Tracker does not request or upload your Salad password, Salad cookies, Salad authentication credentials, or Gmail mailbox access.
Deletion and choices
You can stop cloud and monitoring uploads on a browser, pause email alerts, delete uploaded cloud history and alert data, or delete your Salad Tracker account from Account & Pro. Account deletion stops Pro renewal and removes the Tracker account and linked application data. Local Free history remains in your browser. Stripe may retain billing records when required for billing, disputes, fraud prevention, or law.
Security and changes
We use reasonable safeguards for the service and limit data handling to the functions described here. We may update this policy when the service changes; the effective date above will be updated when we do.
